My Story
Welcome to Confessions Candle Co.! I’m Gabrielle Turnage, but you can call me Gabby. I started this journey because I wanted to create more than just candles—I wanted to create moments. Moments to breathe, reflect, and just be. Growing up in Memphis, I've always found peace in scents, from my grandma’s kitchen to those Sunday afternoon drives around the city. Each scent has a story, and I wanted to share mine with you.
I’ve always had a passion for development—whether it’s in business or personal growth. By day, I work as a business development specialist, helping others unlock their potential. But by night, I pour my heart into Confessions Candle Co. For me, lighting a candle is like sparking a conversation with yourself—a confession, if you will. It’s a time to unwind, reflect, and maybe even get honest with yourself.
Confessions Candle Co. was born out of my desire to offer more than just a product. I want to offer experiences—whether it’s a reminder to take a breath after a long day or creating an atmosphere that brings out the best in you. My scents are carefully curated to capture different vibes, from peaceful calm to vibrant energy, and each product is handcrafted with love.
In 2024, I took the leap to bring this dream to life, launching Confessions Candle Co. with my own two hands (and a Cricut Air 2!). From label design to pouring wax, I’m involved every step of the way. Fun fact: I’m a Cancer sun with an Aquarius moon, so duality is a big part of who I am. You’ll find that reflected in my candles, too—each one offers both a soothing and energizing experience depending on the moment you’re in.
I’m all about creating a space where you can embrace your true self, unwind, and release whatever doesn’t serve you. Thank you for being part of this journey. Every candle you light is a confession, a chance to create your own story. Let’s make some magic together!
